Joe Rogan proved that he is a force to reckon with, even at 55. The former martial artist showcased his still-awesome fitness levels as he went for 75 push-ups in a row on an episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’.

Rogan was also joined by the noted standup comedians and podcasters Ari Shaffir, Tom Segura, and Bert Kreischer for the episode. The quartet went on to discuss a volley of stuff, including a discussion about who among them would be able to do the maximum number of push-ups in a row.

Kreischer kicked off the push-up discussions by stating, “Who do you think can do the most push-ups right now?”. Rogan was very confident of his feat in this aspect. He stated, “Definitely me”. Rogan also stated, “Whatever you do, I’ll do double.”

Three of the four finally went to the floor in order to test their push-up count, leaving out Tom Segura.
The floor was then taken by the star of the contest, Rogan after Shaffir’s 15 and Kreischer’s 33 push-ups. The others stood and counted as the 55-year-old went for 75 straight push-ups with just a minor halt after 70.

Joe Rogan fans were taken aback and appreciated his fitness level
The entire episode garnered massive views all over, with this section even being put up as a YouTube video. The fans expressed their appreciation for the ‘former Fear Factor host’ over this video.
One of his fans wrote, “Joe has been waiting his whole life for someone to challenge him to a push-up contest.” It was understandable that his comment was inspired by Rogan’s utter dominance in this so-called contest.

One more viewer’s appreciation read, “joe is in such great shape, holy sh*t. dude pumped out 75 push ups without warm up or anything. Lil stretch then boom, 75 push ups in a row. dude is a machine.”

Another one also commented, “It is so clear that Joe is the only fit guy in the room. He’s a martial artist, trains like a maniac, and even world’s champion say he has the most lethal spinning back kicks.”

Rogan’s excitement was also caught by another follower who wrote, “Joe jumped up so fast like he’d been waiting his whole life for this”.
A Joe Rogan superfan also wrote, “Simply, Love you Joe. Easily the most well rounded voice online. Curious, Considered, Careful, Considerate, Caring, Compassionate. All the things we need more of right now at this point in human history”.

Some also chose to criticize Rogan’s push-up technique
Some viewers were also of the opinion that Rogan wasn’t perfect in his push-ups. One of them wrote, “not even bending his elbows 90 deg but still ..good work!”, while another one went, “WOW Rogan doesn’t know how to do a push up”.
Another one also commented, “They are not full push-ups”. One more viewer chose to be more specific as he wrote, “Divide that by 2”.

Irrespective of what the fans might think, one thing everybody would agree upon is that it takes quite some training to be able to pull off 75 push-ups at age 55. The UFC commentator might have given up martial arts a long time ago. But, he definitely holds onto his training routine which enables him to such insane shows of fitness even though he is 55 years young.
