Joe Rogan was one of those people who called the Liver King fad from the beginning. The former Fear Factor host adamantly maintained that the internet personality was on some steroids or the other. To Rogan’s credit, he has now been proven right. After being exposed for taking steroids, Liver King himself confessed to it. UFC light heavyweight Anthony Smith gave massive credit to Rogan for his approach to the Liver King situation. Smith gave Rogan the thumbs up on a recent episode of Michael Bisping‘s ‘Believe You Me’ podcast.

Anthony Smith credits Joe Rogan for not having ‘Liver King’ on JRE

Bisping and Smith viewed the Liver King‘s apology video and accused him of trying to shift the narrative. The former champion and former title challenger both agreed that being on steroids was not the issue. Their issue lay in the fact he posed off his physique as natural and used it for business, essentially fooling people.

‘Lionheart’ gave credit to Joe Rogan for not having Liver King on the show. He said that getting the Liver King on would have been more profitable, but Rogan stood firm in his belief.

“Like, credit to Joe Rogan for not giving him that astronomical platform before, and then credit to him for not giving it to him now. Because that could be a pretty big show for Joe because of how big the story is, and because of his belief about it, he hasn’t. I think that says a lot about Joe.”

Bisping agreed to Smith‘s opinion on Joe Rogan, but not before he gave a piece of his mind about the Liver King‘s apology video.
