Sean Strickland is unfiltered and vocal, and he has now made his perception of Andrew Tate known. The UFC champion has set the record straight about his opinions on the controversial internet star, who seizes headlines for his remarks on women and an extravagant lifestyle. However, calling him a “con artist”, ‘Tarzan’ believes there are better role models to follow. And now his advice to the fans has received backing from a UFC veteran.

While one might say the American fighter himself doesn’t know when to draw a line about his candid opinions, he readily dismisses Tate as a figure worth following. The UFC fighter, Matt Brown, harbors the same emotions. On numerous occasions, he has tried to expose the “phony” social media influencer, but his arguments always turn up the heat. The ‘Immortal’ therefore lends his support to Strickland as he discovers a middle ground with him.

Matt Brown lauds Sean Strickland for exposing Andrew Tate

The 42-year-old fighter recently turned to his X-handle and pointed out that the middleweight champion was correct. Further, the welterweight fighter cautioned against Tate and disclosed that the internet celebrity was still scamming people. And, as a result, Tate was still amassing traction among fans.

“Sean is on point here! I’ve been saying this for a while had heated arguments about it! Tate is still scamming people and just getting more and more publicity all the time. He’s a phony also with his backyard kickboxing titles. Didn’t expect this take from Sean but I agree!” Brown wrote.

What exactly Strickland had said about Andrew Tate?

In a conversation with the Nelk Boys on the Full Send podcast, Strickland expressed his candid views about Tate. If the 32-year-old fighter is to be believed, Tate is no messiah. “You have no values; you have no positive role models, so you latch onto a piece of sh*t like Tate,” Strickland announced.

“Andrew Tate is a con artist. He used to rob people’s savings… I’m telling you, Andrew Tate, he’s not your Messiah. He would turn you out for a dollar… Andrew Tate you guys–there’s so many better male role models to have,” he added.

These remarks came a few days earlier when Strickland was about to clash with Israel Adesanya at UFC 293. And now, he holds the middleweight crown. Meanwhile, Tate awaits trial for his alleged crimes in Romania.
