Slamming Dana White Publicly for Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz and Brother Nick Finally Get Irish UFC Star’s Support

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz seem to have found a common enemy! The two men are known for their famed rivalry that has led to some spectacular moments inside the Octagon. But in a recent social media post, Diaz came out to slam the UFC and Dana White for their treatment of fighters and their contracts and also highlighted his support for the Irish MMA icon’s plight.

His post struck a chord with the MMA world as McGregor had also recently confessed the terrible impact of delays in receiving a date for his comeback – “I was hoping for a December date, then a January date, then it keeps getting pushed back, then I lose interest and stop training for a while”. However, Diaz’s shout-out has been well received by ‘The Notorious’ who indicated his appreciation for the support in a recent statement.

Recently, Conor McGregor voiced his frustrations with the UFC’s delays in securing a date for his return to the Octagon after a long hiatus since 2021. His words resonated with Nate Diaz, who shared a message of support for McGregor, with a reference to his own struggles with the UFC.

He posted on X, “This was me for years before Conor even got here. They want (you) to die before (you) get out these contracts. It’s up to you to make something pop. No one gonna help you but you. Free Conor, it’s (St.) Patty’s Day in this b***”

And during a recent press event for the promotion of McGregor’s role in ‘Road House’, the Irishman was asked to state his thoughts on Diaz’s “shout out”. McGregor stated, “Love it, love Nate. Happy Paddy’s day to the Diaz bros and the Diaz clan, man. The man and I shared many minutes in the Octagon.”

Diaz and McGregor’s situations with the UFC echo with each other as during Diaz’s last fight of his UFC contract, he faced struggles with the promotion failing to provide him with a suitable matchup. And the Stockton native’s recent message of support offers a glimpse of unity in the often cutthroat world of MMA.

And as fans rejoice over the possible reconciliation between McGregor and Diaz, McGregor’s recent revelation about his comeback plans has further ignited excitement in the MMA community!

 ‘The Notorious’ claims UFC return is “all systems go” 

Conor McGregor has teased his return to the UFC during a recent interview with ESPN! The Irishman dropped the update after widespread speculation in the MMA world about his long-awaited return to the Octagon. Speaking to Marc Raimondi, he stated, “We got confirmation a few days ago that it’s all systems go, and ‘The Mac,’ ‘The Notorious’ will be returning to the UFC Octagon this summer.”

Despite previously suggesting a June 29 bout in other statements, McGregor didn’t confirm the date or event during his latest revelation. He also hinted about the return fight being against Michael Chandler at a possible weight of 185 lbs, a division both men will be professionally competing in for the first time if the proposed fight does materialize at this weight class.

As reports indicate that McGregor has 2 more fights left in his UFC career, it remains to be seen if the UFC will make an official announcement about his return date soon. And so, fans and experts alike are left speculating about what happens next in the saga of Conor McGregor’s comeback!
