However, things quickly darted towards USADA and the time people would have to wait to see McGregor step into the Octagon. Rogan asked, “How does the USADA thing work?” ‘Sugar’ replied that McGregor wasn’t in the pool anymore. Then Rogan wondered, “If he’s not in the pool, then how much time does he need before he gets back and competes?” 6 months was the answer.
The UFC commentator exclaimed that it was way too long. Furthermore, the fact that the ‘Notorious’ was out of the pool and hasn’t been tested blew his mind off. “That doesn’t seem fair”, said Rogan. Moreover, the bantamweight contender believed it was crazy since the former double champion wasn’t tested by USADA.
Michael Chandler would have to wait for 6 months
Continuing their talks, the two began calculating when McGregor might return to the fights. Finally, Rogan said, “He can fight in June or July.” Additionally, he said, “That’s something that people need to realize when they toss names around. Like they’re tossing card, yeah I want Conor. You’re talking about 6 months from now, minimum.”

Nonetheless, ‘Sugar’ seemed to think that ‘Iron’ might be a good match for McGregor. He said, “Conor has to see a guy that’s gonna get him excited, that he sees as very winnable. And Chandler is dangerous. But he’s shorter and he throws f**king hooks. Conor is bigger and he throws and he’s a sniper. He throws down in the idle. So, he might look at that.”
However, McGregor has put on a lot of muscles. ‘Sugar’ believed that if he’s going to get back, it might probably be in the 170lbs. Despite staying out of action for so long, McGregor’s return is destined to be amongst the most awaited event in the UFC.
