Gilbert Burns has been calling out Colby Covington for a while

‘Durinho’ and ‘Chaos’ are yet to cross paths inside the octagon. He has been very vocal about wanting to face Covington. He recently spoke to MMA Junkie‘,  where he said, “I hope because I’ve been calling this guy [Covington] out forever. He’s been smart. He sits out and fights Tyron Woodley and then relax, and then he fights for the title again.”

Burns has accused Covington of ducking him and fighting fighters who are in the twilight stages of their careers, and working his way into a title shot against Leon Edwards. He added, “He then picks another guy that’s not in his prime coming from another loss, Masvidal. Then he wins and gets another title shot. He’s been smart. I hope that one day we can get this done.”
