Demetrious Johnson has undeniably won the hearts of the entire world with his phenomenal performance against Adriano Moraes at ONE Fight Night 10. He defeated Moraes with a unanimous decision. The fighter seemingly concluded the trilogy with two wins under his belt. Not only did the ONE flyweight champion successfully defend his title, but also faced off against Kairat Akhmetov. Chatri Sityodtong shares thoughts on Johnson’s bombshell

Chatri Sityodtong, the head of ONE Championship, recently appeared in an interview with the former UFC fighter, Chael Sonnen. With Johnson’s hint of retirement running wild, the two men were destined to have a talk about it. Surprisingly, Sityodtong deemed it to be a curse.
He said, “One thing that does scare me though, Chael. When a fighter starts talking about retirement, just talking about it, there’s something that happens. And for whatever reason, it’s like a jinx, a curse.”
