In the MMA world, everyone knows Conor McGregor. While some are his fans because of his fights, others like him because of his trash talk. He has an impressive record of 22 wins and 6 losses and was on a 15-fight win streak from 2011 to 2015, which was broken by Nate Diaz. Unfortunately, McGregor has lost fights against top UFC fighters like Nate Diaz, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and Dustin Poirier that has damaged his stock recently.
In his last fight against Poirier at UFC 264, McGregor blew out his leg off a check and lost via TKO. The Irish fighter had to undergo surgery and required time to recover from his painful injury. He had been walking with the help of a cane.
After his injury, many questioned if the fighter would retire from fighting. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case. During the post-fight interview, McGregor said, “This is not over.”

As the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion recovers, he still managed to grace the headlines. From a scuffle with Machine Gun Kelly to throwing an awful baseball pitch, McGregor surely knows how to stay relevant.
When Conor McGregor returns, there could possibly be a fourth bout against Poirier, given the way their trilogy ended. This would give him the chance to avenge the two losses he faced against Poirier. However, another fight against ‘The Diamond’ could also be a potentially dangerous move for his UFC career.
