Furthermore, the UFC legend said that the rumors have been constantly changing between 170 and 155 pounds. Dana White might have insisted the fight take place at 155 pounds, as per Sonnen.

Moreover, the MMA analyst revealed that neither he nor the fans care about what weight class they fight at. However, he said that at least the concerned fighters and Dana White should be aware of it. The 45-year-old further compared McGregor‘s fight with Chandler to one of his earlier fights.

Conor McGregor defeated Chad Mendes via TKO for the interim UFC featherweight title. Back then, this was one of the highlights of ‘The Notorious’s career.

Although his next fight with Chandler is his comeback after a long haul, Sonnen doesn’t expect the fight to be similar to McGregor‘s old one, as ‘Iron Mike’ has advantages over Mendes. Furthermore, the UFC legend is of the opinion that weight class will not matter between the two UFC stars.
