As the year 2022 came to an end, stories and posts that recalled the events of the year began taking over the internet. Joe Rogan was no different. However, his method of remembering was a bit quirkier than the others. While the world was rejoicing the good and bad memories alike and saying goodbye to 2022, Rogan had everyone look at the world and time from a different perspective.

The beloved UFC commentator seems to be fond of thinking about things from a different angle. Without a doubt, the post had the world of combat sports put on its thinking caps.
Joe Rogan puts the scenes in a different perspective:
The 55-year-old podcaster recently posted a long text on Instagram. The post, indeed, consisted of facts that could make anyone wonder about the people who were born in the early 20th century. He captioned, “This is really f**king wild. Repost: @nealbrennan This is going around the internet and my page is part of the internet. Perspectives.”

The post revealed that the world was not an easy place to live in if one was born in 1900. When those kids turned to be 14, they had to survive World War I, which killed 22 million people. Immediately after, they had to go through the Spanish Flu epidemic, which put 50 million people under the ground.

They had to face the Great Depression when they turned 29. While the country nearly collapsed, they still had to endure and go on. The next issue came with World War II when they turned 39. By the time they turned 41, the US got pulled into the war. They witnessed the death of 75 million people in WWII for their 45th birthday. Furthermore, the Korean War ensured the death of another 5 million people by the time they turned 52.

The story of their life didn’t end there. Then the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis turned their life into stories of struggle in the end. The post showed that the views of a kid born in 1985 were significantly different from his grandparents. The post ended with, “Perspective is an amazing art… In the history of the world, there has never been a storm that lasted. This too, shall pass.”
Joe Rogan’s thoughts on New Year
In the recent episode of JRE, Rogan revealed his thoughts on the celebration of New Year’s Eve. He questioned how much the yelling of “It’s New Year’s” affected people’s lives. He simply called it a weird capturing of time with the help of calendars and watches.

Furthermore, the JRE host defined time with a snap of the fingers. He further believed that everything else was simply in people’s heads. Without a doubt, the podcaster thought that the celebration of such occasions was simply weird.
