UFC Singapore saw a legend retire! The much-awaited clash between Max Holloway and Chan Sung Jung was witnessed by the fans. However, the outcome didn’t go in favor of Jung, as he lost to Holloway by knockout at UFC Singapore. Both fighters were eying the victory before entering the fight, but fortune favored Holloway as his big right hand helped him do the damage.

Coming from a loss in his previous bout, the main event was indeed crucial for the Korean veteran. However, he couldn’t fulfill his desires since he had to face a loss at the hands of Holloway.  Surprisingly, Jung made his retirement official, shocking the entire MMA community.  But what were his statements and the reaction from the community? ‘The Korean Zombie’ made it official on Saturday that he won’t continue his MMA career forward. The post-fight interview was seemingly enough to display his thoughts. After the bout was over, Holloway showcased a heart-touching gesture hailing the feat of the 35-year-old. Jung in fact, even revealed a few uncertainties associated with his prospect in a recent press conference. But, unfortunately for his fans, all of the uncertainties became certain through his statements.

Being in the limbo of his career Jung entered the Fight Night with huge aspirations. But destiny had other plans since he made it clear that he would stop fighting in the post-fight interview. Despite trying his best, he couldn’t beat Holloway and hence was disappointed with his deeds which left the entire MMA community shocked.
