Conor McGregor’s UFC return has been the source of much speculation and concern for his fans. The Irishman has been absent from the UFC since 2021. Despite his return against Michael Chandler for TUF 31 this year, a fight between the two has yet to materialize. However, there have been rumblings about his return that may be more significant than fans previously anticipated!

McGregor’s absence from the testing pool has been one of the main roadblocks for his comeback. But with recent comments from UFC CEO Dana White, there might be hope on the horizon. Another source has recently come out and stated that there is a real possibility of the Irish superstar stepping into the cage again in 2024. Conor McGregor’s UFC return has been marked with ups and downs for his fans. His appearance on TUF 31 was a ray of sunshine which was later overshadowed by his absence from the USADA testing pool. The absence was also mentioned as a reason behind the soon-to-occur split between the UFC and USADA. However, all hope may not be lost for the Irishman and his supporters. 

In a recent interview ahead of UFC 295, Dana White stated that he is in talks with Conor McGregor and there’s a possibility of his return in 2024. The comments were a strong indicator that the UFC is looking to have him return to the Octagon as soon as realistically possible. While still adhering to the drug testing protocol for athletes.

And now ‘The Schmo‘ has made another statement on Twitter that has caused a frenzy in the combat sports world. In his post, the Schmo stated, “The Schmo is hearing from sources McGregor vs Chandler April #UFC300”

The Schmo’s recent statement on a potential McGregor vs. Chandler bout in April for UFC 300 has ignited excitement across the combat sports community, adding more intrigue to McGregor’s highly anticipated comeback. And McGregor himself has been adding fuel to the flames of speculation with his posts on Twitter/X!

Mcgregor states he is ready for whatever ‘surprises’ the UFC throws at him

Conor McGregor’s presence on social media has been a regular source of updates for the fans during his hiatus from competition. In a recent post on Twitter/X, McGregor came out and made a bold statement about his UFC return!

Despite Dana White’s previous comments indicating his return timeline for next year, McGregor revealed his approach to getting ready for his comeback. He stated in the post, “I promise the ufc would never even have announce to me who I am fighting, they could do a surprise announcement out of nowhere…”

He then went on to explain that he would be ready to face “absolutely anyone, at any time”. McGregor also claimed that his preparation in the gym is “legally binding”.

The comments come at an interesting time as multiple sources have now claimed his UFC return will occur in 2024. Despite no official confirmations, it is speculated that he will face Michael Chandler as a part of UFC 300.
