Conor McGregor is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the UFC. A former two-division champion, McGregor was last seen inside the Octagon in 2021. Despite showing interest in coming back, he has yet to receive a date for his next fight. This delay has raised many questions about the superstar losing his Midas touch. Has he really lost his stardom?

UFC 264 was the last time ‘Mystic Mac’ featured in a competitive fight in the UFC. He faced Dustin Poirier for the third time in his career. The encounter turned out to be a nightmare for the 35-year-old as he faced a serious leg injury. The injury kept him out of action for a considerable amount of time. However, the Dubliner is ready to make a return but is yet to receive any date from UFC CEO Dana White. While many believe that McGregor is way past his prime and doesn’t hold the same importance as before, his striking coach doesn’t agree.

In a recent Instagram post shared by MMA Uncensored, he shared his opinion and wrote, ” It doesn’t matter who Conor Fights. As long as Conor’s in the cage fighting somebody. It’s gonna bring the numbers. It’s gonna bring the excitement, and it’s gonna bring the fan’s again.”
