Michael Chandler is waiting for his prey but there’s been no developments from Dana White on his next fight. Chandler’s patience has worn off and it seems like he is going for a new approach to face the UFC. In a conversation with MMA influencer ‘Schmo’, Chandler laid out his game plan for his upcoming fights for the first time after the McGregor fiasco.
Chandler seems to be eyeing a fight against Islam Makhachev for the title and a legacy fight against Nate Diaz after squaring off against Conor McGregor. He said, “Conor says, “Me in June, Diaz in September in the sphere, and then Manny Pacquiao or whatever. I’ve got plans of my own. I go out there, I finish Conor in an emphatic fashion, and I don’t take any damage. I turn right around and fight Islam for the title.”

He further explained, “Or if the UFC has a momentary lapse of judgment and doesn’t give me the title shot against Islam or whoever has the title, then I fight Nate Diaz at the sphere in September. I can make a quick turnaround. I’m built for this; I could fight five times a year if I need to. So that’s my plan right now, but it starts in June with decapitating Conor McGregor.”
