UFC President Dana White Discloses the Exact Moment That Led to His $500 Million Empire

Dana White was an enormous influence on people and other promoters after he turned MMA into a global phenomenon with his Ultimate Fighting Championship. The Nevada native has turned MMA into one of the most successful sports in the past decade. But, before he had the chance to work his magic in the world of sports, White was an ordinary man. And, if you stayed at the Boston Harbor Hotel around 1987, you might’ve run into him. Back then, He had a comfortable job with good pay. But that was never enough for a man like Dana White.

The American worked various jobs before he found himself in the fighting business. And he has never looked back since.

Dana White used to work as a bellman in a hotel

The UFC Supremo revealed his former profession as a bellman at The Boston Harbor Hotel, but couldn’t make himself stay there. In a recent interview with Grant Cardone, White shared his journey to becoming a successful business magnate. And accrue over $500 million of net worth under his name.

During the interview, White took a trip down memory lane. After he left Nevada as a young boy, he found a comfortable life in Boston and had every reason to settle. But White couldn’t bring himself to that.

The 53-year-old said, “I ended up at the Boston Harbor Hotel. I was a Bellman there when I was 18, 19 years old”

Even described the hotel to be one of the best in Boston, “great job you know nice hotel

everybody’s looking for that job where you get great benefits of 401k

The Boston Harbor hotel offered everything that a normal guy would need to meet his ends. Good pay, great stay, and even friendly people to work with. What else could a man want? Well, White wanted to be closer to the fight.

Dana White knew he wasn’t a fit for the job. And couldn’t bring himself to work there. Despite all the comforts, it was a boring job. And most people would live with that. But White just got up and left.

“The difference between me and a lot of people is I got up and walked out and said I wanted to be in the fight business”

And this determination drove the American to live his dream.
