Two fighters training together in the combat sports world is not a surprising thing. Teammates turning into rivals and some of them being lifelong comrades is something that, although not unexpected, doesn’t happen that often. Khamzat Chimaev and Darren Till might just be the duo we need. As they are not rivals nor teammates, their relationship is just something else.

In a recent training video posted by @vukojemma on Instagram, Chimaev and Till appeared to be training together in an intense yet friendly environment.

Why ‘The Gorilla’ needs to train with ‘Borz’?

Darren Till is one of the most hyped fighters in the UFC. With his iconic accent, skillful performances, and overall charisma, he’s been one of the most anticipated fighters to watch over and over again.

Till’s career and personal life have not always been smooth. Many injuries have plagued him throughout, with direct reference to his career. To make matters worse, inactivity and sidelining in recent times have led to him putting on a lot of fat.

Meanwhile, Khamzat Chimaev has been cited to be one of the most hardworking and explosive fighters in the UFC today. Former top light-heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson stated that Chimaev spends most of his time at the gym and does close to five sessions a day.

Thus, ‘Borz’ might be the right individual to push Till to reach his potential.
