Ronnie Coleman explained his insane diet to Rogan

Back in June 2020, Joe Rogan hosted bodybuilding icon Ronnie Coleman on the Joe Rogan Experience. Coleman and Rogan discussed Coleman’s career and various other topics surrounding the sport of bodybuilding. During their conversation, Coleman explained his insane diet to Rogan.

“I eat about, like, a pound of chicken, grilled breast you know, with half a cup of rice… That was a normal meal. I had about six meals a day, you know. It’s kind of hard to eat like that, you know. So I would have to wake up in the middle of the night to eat and go back to sleep.”

Coleman added it was normal for him, but it would be difficult for a normal person to follow that kind of diet. Rogan asked if it was tiring or annoying to wake up to eat. Coleman said it was something you had to get used to. Well, those are the sacrifices you have to make to reach Coleman’s level of success in the sport.
