Once a beloved figure in the UFC, Paddy Pimblett finds himself in fans’ bad books today. A significant portion of the fanbase has now turned against ‘The Baddy’, especially after his controversial decision win over Jared Gordon at UFC 282. The bout’s outcome, marred with contentious judging, has placed him in the crosshairs of relentless criticism from fans and fellow fighters alike.
The 28-year-old Pimblett finds himself in a precarious position despite being undefeated in the promotion. Unranked in the highly competitive lightweight division, he has been on the sidelines since his last fight due to a frustrating ankle injury that he incurred during the battle with Gordon. However, with a strong spirit and optimism, Pimblett has been ardently focusing on his recovery, with the ultimate goal of making an impactful comeback to prove his worth in the octagon. But fans aren’t keen.
