UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal shared a video of a sports and fitness instructor using a hardened training method on his students. ‘Gamebred’ hasn’t been seen in action inside the octagon since UFC 272, where he lost to Colby Covington. However, he has maintained an active social media presence. Stepping into the world of combat sports is a very tough and unsettling endeavor. As such, fighters sometimes go to the extreme during their training sessions and sometimes end up injuring themselves. The slightest miscalculation inside the cage could lead to disastrous consequences. Due to injuries, fighters have struggled to reach the Octagon on fight nights.
Jorge Masvidal questions unusual training method
Jorge Masvidal came and shared a video posted by a Facebook user that showed a sports instructor putting his young students through an unusual training method for conditioning. The instructor was seen using a car tire and slamming it on his students’ abdomen while they lay on the floor. Masvidal wrote in his post: “Would you put your kids in this class?”
