Kayla Harrison receives support from Jorge Masvidal

Kayla Harrison was undefeated until last Friday. However, her latest fight against Larissa Pacheco has rewritten history by defeating Harrison. During an interview with MMAFightingonSBN, the UFC fighter responded to Harrison‘s defeat.

“You know, a big part of me (was)stunned, big part of me (is)like, man, this is the third time you fight that girl.” said Masvidal. “It wasn’t like, no upset. She already beat her twice very convincingly, you know. So, I don’t wanna take anything from this girl away, obviously. Pacheco is a stud, you know. Came out to win f*****g  and went to beat somebody that’s beaten you twice, you have to do a lot of mental adversity and stuff like that.”

Additionally, Masvidal still feels Harrison is a champion. “I still walk away thinking Kayla’s the better fighter, but it just wasn’t her night.”
