Mya Lesnar was previously a student at Arizona State University before moving to Colorado State. Before setting the shot put record, she won the All-Mountain West honor. Lesnar also won first place in the weight throw at the indoor Mountain West Championships and third place in the shot put at the conference championships in both the indoor and outdoor categories. Her recent achievement has many people talking, especially a former UFC double champion.
