Former WWE and UFC champion Brock Lesnar’s daughter made headlines recently. A junior at Colorado State University, Mya Lesnar went viral on social media after breaking an old record and setting a new one in the indoor women’s shot put. The 21-year-old set a record of 18.50 meters that earned her the Student-Athlete of the week. This news caught the attention of Conor McGregor.

The UFC’s first-ever double champion shared the news of Mya Lesnar’s incredible feat in a story on his Instagram handle. Given that the ‘Beast Incarnate’ was one of the biggest draws in the UFC during his stint in the promotion, it was only apt for Conor McGregor to acknowledge his daughter’s achievement as a sign of respect to the former heavyweight champion.

Sean Strickland sends a warning to Ian Garry

The UFC middleweight champion had been very vocal when Ian Garry and his wife Layla Anna-Lee came under fire for her 10-year-old book ‘How to be a WAG’ resurfaced. Sean Strickland mentioned how the 26-year-old “got played,” which led the welterweight star to threaten the champion with a lawsuit. Meanwhile, ‘Tarzan’ revealed that they recently bumped into each other at the UFC’s Performance Institute, leading him to send a warning to Garry.

“So guys, I went to the PI today and I ran into f***ing cuck, Ian Garry. Awkward man, awkward,” said Strickland in a post on Instagram. He mentioned that Ian Garry was staring at him constantly due to which security had to be present. However, Strickland wasted no time and warned the undefeated welterweight star although he mentioned that he has no hatred toward him.

“I don’t wanna fight you, bro,” Strickland further continued. “But if you look at me hard and you’re feeling some kind of way, if you’re feeling like you need to get this sh*t f***king handled, and you want to look at me hard and that’s what you want, slide up in the DMs, bro. I don’t want it, but if that’s what you want, you know where to find me, man.” We will have to see if Ian Garry agrees with what Strickland had to say.

UFC 296 recently suffered one major blow after Giga Chikadze pulled out of his fight against Josh Emmett due to injury. Now, to avoid another one of these circumstances, the UFC has chosen former champion Brandon Moreno as the backup fighter for the co-main event between Alexandre Pantoja and Brandon Royval for the flyweight title.

Brandon Moreno’s last fight was at UFC 290, where he lost the flyweight title to Alexandre Pantoja. As such, we could see him fight to reclaim his title should any of the co-main event contenders pull out due to some reason. It remains to be seen how things unfold when the UFC’s last PPV takes place on December 16th.
