The UFC president was nowhere to be seen during the pre-fight press conference for this week’s pay-per-view. It was a rare occurrence on Dana White’s part due to the significance of this event. Instead, UFC commentator Jon Anik took up the hosting duties for the show. As per MMA journalist Mike Bohn, Dana White was apparently enjoying a vacation.

He shared a tweet, stating, “With Dana White vacationing in Italy, I’m told [Jon Anik] will host today [UFC 291’s] pre-fight press conference.” UFC 291 will take place at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, with two of the most anticipated fights of 2023.
