The rivalry between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone is one for the ages. It lasted for nearly 20 years, involving some eye-catching moments between the two global superstars. Their first meeting was at the 1977 Golden Globe ceremony, where Arnold won the New Star of the Year award.

During that period, Arnold was also dominating the professional bodybuilding circuit. He won back-to-back Mr. Olympia titles during the years 1970-1975. 4-time Mr. Olympia, Jay Cutler once revealed why he considered Stallone a bigger inspiration than Schwarzenegger, despite the latter’s significant achievements in bodybuilding.
