Devon Larratt is sweepingly considered to be one of the best arm wrestlers of all time. In fact, one could argue he is #1 in North America when it comes to arm wrestling. While that is not set in stone, one thing is clear he is not someone to be messed with. Braun Strowman, however, seems like a person who would dare to mess with Larratt. The WWE champion once got into a confrontation with Larratt, and things got heated quickly.

During the 2021 Olympia weekend in Orlando, Florida, Devon Larratt was challenged by former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman to a battle on the arm-wrestling table. There was some flexing of muscles and some pushing around, as bodybuilding events are incomplete without some light-hearted drama. Since both men are gigantic in their own right with, bulging biceps, the question is, how did the competition go?

Larratt and Strowman’s conversation during the Olympia soon turned up the heat. They pushed at each other and flexed their muscles as the crown gawked. Adrenaline was running high on both ends. And what resulted from the situation was an epic arm wrestling match that spanned two rounds. The crowd was as pumped as the two men and eager two see who would destroy who.

Ultimately, it was Larratt who won. Braun Strowman, real name Adam Scherr, was the towering “Black Sheep” of The Wyatt Family. In 2016, he struck off on his own and was known as The Monster Among Men in the WWE landscape. Destruction is Strowman’s passion, and he is known for antics such as flipping over ambulances. However, Larratt’s arm-wrestling prowess is something he could not destroy. Devon Larratt is an absolute legend in arm wrestling. He is also the proud owner of a Legacy Hammer — an artifact similar in appearance to Thor’s Hammer that represents the highest-ranking arm wrestler worldwide.

Fans also appreciated Larratt’s showmanship, and someone wrote, “Love it how Devon just played into it when he got shoved. Instantly knew, shock value, great for ratings. Devon is in some kind of Nirvana he just pretends he takes things personally like WWF. It would be great to pick his brain in a podcast.” One thing is clear Devon Larrat remains unfazed by his opponents. His strength and his confidence both make him an absolute fan favorite.
