In terms of pure athleticism, Simone Biles and LeBron James are masters of their game. Both these athletes are premier talents who have rightfully earned legendary status in their fields. Biles is a four-time Olympic gold medalist while James has four NBA titles to his name. However, with both masters of two sports that involve redefining gravity, more or less, a question arises to test their physical capabilities; Who will be the better jumper between the two?

While comparing their vertical ability, a fair deal would be for both the athletes to jump off a trampoline. So, who will jump higher?

Simone Biles vs LeBron James

Despite their significant height difference, both athletes have a better body-to-mass ratio than most athletes. James stands at around 6’4″ while Biles stands at 4’9″. The Lakers’ forward has a significant advantage over body and mass while Biles is very strong for her size. If they look at only the percentage of body weight or height, Biles would win it hands down. However, James is so tall that, combined with his body mass and strength, he can jump higher. Despite that, it would be a contest that cannot be judged easily.

If Biles can build momentum in judging her vertical ability, she stands head and shoulders above the rest. Her incredible leap is a treat to watch. Yet, on a standing vertical jump, James’ long legs come to the forefront as he could jump higher than Biles.

In terms of maximum vertical, James is said to have a vertical of 40 inches. On the other hand, the thrust put by Biles during the vault event is said to reach over 53 inches. This helps her to reach heights that most athletes can only dream of.

The only way to judge both these athletes would be to set up against each other. Due to the significant body differences, one cannot say who would win the contest because both athletes are more than capable of providing excellent jumps. However, Biles might have a greater advantage as she maneuvers her acrobatic moves perfectly. This helps her to leap higher than most athletes.

However, let’s not forget, James is a GOAT too, beyond capable of pulling off the most unexpected, extraordinary moves. Who do you think would leap higher between the two legends?
