Leanne Wong is a name that has stood out in gymnastics this year. The 20-year-old managed to have all eyes on her, beginning with the Core Hydration Classic in August this year. Wong shone brightly and finished second in all-around behind the legendary Simone Biles. She further went on and showed her impeccable skills at the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, where she won the bronze medal and made it to the podium alongside Biles, who won gold, and Shilese Jones, who took home the silver. She continued showcasing her talent at the 2023 Worlds and Pan Am Games Selection Camp, where she came in 5th on the first day and 4th on the second day, which led her to secure her spot on the roster to represent the USA at the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

In Antwerp at the World Championships, Wong stood out with her finesse but also showed sheer team spirit when she stepped up at the very last minute for her teammate Joscelyn Roberson, who had injured her foot just moments before the team finals could begin. This team spirit among the five-member squad led Team USA to secure their 7th consecutive World Title. And now, weeks after the global championships, Wong has warmed hearts once more by taking a bold stance for a noble cause.

In her latest Instagram stories, Leanne Wong shared a heartfelt update. She made a collage of three images. In one image, she was posing in a Barbie-themed photo booth. In another, two women were seen walking with two pink bows in their hair, and in the third was a big pink sign that read “Finish Line” and “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer,” organized by the American Cancer Society. She even linked a page named “Pink Breast Cancer Bows” in her story. Wong has a special connection to bows that many may not know.

Leanne Wong is a businesswoman, and her side hustle is called “Leanne Wong Bowtique”. What started as a side hustle due to her love for bows has now grown into a full-blown business for the star, who has even started selling apparel and sportswear. The cute bows seen in the second picture were made by her very brand. In other stories that followed, Wong posted a close-up of someone who had two pink bows with “LW” written in silver crystals on their white sneakers, and Wong wrote, “Let’s beat breast cancer together,” tagging her brand.

And on the other hand, around 2,100 men are diagnosed with breast cancer, and 500 people die each year. Breast Cancer Awareness aims to highlight the importance of making people aware of the disease while also helping many to understand the importance of getting screenings and mammograms done, which can be beneficial for doctors to detect breast cancer early, which can save countless lives.
