Nebraska Volleyball proudly tweeted about the latest milestone achieved by the defensive star on its official X account. The tweet carried the caption, “The captain is 3 for 3. The clash between the Nebraska Huskers and the Pittsburgh Panthers will see the collision of a defensive powerhouse with an offensive team. While the Panthers have stunned many with their offense, the Nebraska Huskers have won several matches with clean sweeps, dismantling the attack of the opposition.

The 27-match winning streak of the Nebraska Huskers is still in everyone’s mind. The Panthers, however, have also made their way to the semifinals for the third consecutive time. While they are yet to win an NCAA championship, they can also surprise everyone like Wisconsin Badgers did in 2021.

The Nebraska Huskers last won the NCAA titles back in 2017 and had to settle as runner-ups in 2021. Will Nebraska advance to the finals and get closer to ending their six-year-title drought?
