Lindsey Vonn attends the Mavs v Jazz game

An ardent fan of the sport, Vonn attended the third game of the playoff series between Dallas and Utah. Incidentally, she was not the only icon present in the building. Dallas Mavs legend, Dirk Nowitzki, was also there, supporting his former team and also scouting the on-court talent. Fellow NBA player, Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat, was also in the house. Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather was also present as he signed boxing gloves for the Jazz mascot.

Vonn was quick to get a photo clicked with all the legends and post it on Twitter as she mentioned the Utah Jazz in the caption that read “meetings.” While many fans enjoyed the post, one pointed out that Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson was missing.

‘The Rock’ and Lindsey have been friends beyond the professional realm. It all began when he said that Vonn was perhaps the only one who could keep up with him at the gym. The two friends have become inseparable since. They exchange voice notes, birthday messages, and a lot of other things as well. Vonn also admitted to the fact that Dwyane helped her grow as an athlete and a person.

It is indeed heartwarming to see that a simple statement from Johnson made way for such a great friendship. It is no surprise that people were upset that Dwyane was a no-show with Lindsey.
