But eventually, the tables turned, as the joyous unveiling soon took an upsetting spin as he received a jersey adorning the Cowboys rival, the Eagles emblem. The playful showdown of a well-intentioned gift-giving gesture in the backdrop of NFL emotion has left the fans mesmerized.

Amidst the Christmas celebration, the NFL has to be an integral part. A video from the official account of SportsCenter has gone viral on Instagram. The short clip shows aiming to fulfill a father’s request, a jersey mix-up unfolded. At the moment of revelation, the dad being an avid fan of the Cowboys gets startled as an Eagle jersey finds its way to his hands instead.

Hence, receiving the jersey of an arch-rival team led to a heartbreaking moment for the dad, who waited eagerly for the day to arrive. Additionally, the jersey bore the name of the controversial Eagles player Carson Wentz, who faced backlash for his incompetence in grabbing victory on the field.

The father’s composure left a fan comment, “Bro was furious inside”.
