The stage is set for the epic showdown between the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky! The rivalry between these two teams, thanks to their star players, is bringing in thousands of viewers. The Chicago Sky player arrived at the United Center to watch the epic showdown.
Angel Reese may not have suited up for the game, but she definitely showed up. In true Reese fashion, the Chicago Sky forward arrived at the United Center, turning heads and serving looks. Decked out in her signature bold style, she hit poses on her way to the court, effortlessly blending fashion and star power even off the hardwood. Earlier, Reese had been listed as a game-time decision due to a lingering back injury, but her presence courtside made one thing clear that she wasn’t going to let her fans go home disappointed.

While the Sky will miss her influence on the court, Reese’s courtside appearance was a statement in itself. Now, fans can only hope that their fan-favorite Barbie is back in action soon, dominating on the floor. In the 2025 season, she has averaged 13.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. But that changed when her back injury forced the coach to send her to the bench. She missed the game against Seattle and now against Indiana.

Good news for her fans is that she did have some individual practice on Saturday alongside Sky coach Tyler Marsh. “It’ll be day-to-day. She was pretty sore this morning and didn’t want to mess with it, being the back issue,” Marsh said, talking about her injury. While her return to the court depends on her recovery, Reese has already handled her off-court presence with care. The player has a surprising secret behind her fashionable looks.
The secret behind Angel Reese, the WNBA fashion icon
They don’t call Angel Reese the Chi-town Barbie for nothing. The WNBA player has made many heads turn with her off-court dresses. There is a reason why her looks are so on point. “I have a hairstylist in every city, literally, every city I can find a hairstylist. So that’s never an issue,” revealed Reese on July 23. She gives a lot of importance to how she carries herself. The fashion icon of the WNBA also focuses a lot on her social media appearances.

Reese is a social media wizard, and it shows in the meticulous planning she does for her looks. While the majority of players work on their dribbling and shooting, Reese pays equal attention to her fashion. “I usually pick out 40 outfits before the season,” she said. The player makes a plan beforehand for all her fashion statements ahead of every game of the WNBA. Calling it an easy task, Reese is an expert in handling how her fans view her.
Furthermore, her team of nail artists, makeup artists, and stylists steps up their game whenever the player has to appear for special occasions. Whether it was her mint-green 16Arlington dress at the 2024 Met Gala, the leopard-print trench coat at the 2025 All-Star Weekend, or the black Thom Browne two-piece suit at the 2025 Met Gala, Angel Reese continues to prove she has her fashion game on lock. The Chi-town Barbie is the perfect example of how to carry oneself on and off the basketball court.
