Let’s just say it started as tension and ended in meme-worthy self-roasting. Caitlin Clark may have missed the WNBA All-Star Game due to injury, but that didn’t stop her from stealing the show most suddenly. From trading playful jabs with legends to reviewing a heated on-court moment and hilariously flipping it on its head, Clark reminded everyone why she remains the league’s most magnetic presence, even from the sidelines.

The 23-year-old joined Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe in Indianapolis for an episode of A Touch More. The trio talked about their favorite moments from WNBA All-Star history, how Clark interacted with Taylor Swift, and a lot more. During this hour-long interview, they also touched base on the goofy side of the Fever star with a round of You Meme So Much. The premise of the game was simple – recounting funny moments of Clark and the story behind them. However, one moment among them was serious.

But Caitlin Clark managed to turn it into a humorous one too, just at the expense of herself. The moment in question was her clash with Atlanta’s guard Rhyne Howard. On May 22, 2025, Indiana Fever squared up against Atlanta Dream in an intense matchup. During the game, things got heated up between Clark and Howard, with some words being exchanged. “I’m not scared of you,” Clark said to Howard. While the exchange was intense, the WNBA star did not give much heed to her facial expressions, which have now been immortalized as a meme. “I feel like every game there’s always like a new meme of me doing something,” Clark quipped at her expense.

She joined Bird and Rapinoe in laughing at her goofy expressions. Adding on to the jokes, Clark cheekily said, “I thought I was tough, and then this is what I looked like.” Her hosts soon jumped in to defend Clark from herself. People claimed that the timing of the picture didn’t do justice to the whole scenario. According to them, if someone looked at the whole clip, Clark would definitely look tough and not goofy. But there was no stopping Clark from making remarks.

My hair is all messed up! I had just gotten hit,” pointed out the 23-year-old, laughingly. She went on to troll herself more, claiming it’s the worst when your hair is dangling out when you are trying to look tough. The Indiana Fever star can take a joke. It was evident from the interview. But during the interview, Clark shed light upon a wholesome moment she shared with Taylor Swift.

People were dying to know what these two influential had in common. The truth finally came out during the WNBA All-Star weekend.

“Honestly, I love football and I know a lot about football, so I was telling her like why they threw a flag, but in the best way,” Clark revealed to Bird and Rapinoe. So it looks like the CC was explaining why a foul was given to the pop star. Clark admits she herself has limited knowledge about the sport. But she did her best to explain everything to Swift.
