Love is in the air, and it was definitely felt inside the Kaseya Center! With the 2025 WNBA season wrapped up and the Las Vegas Aces secured another title, all thanks to A’ja Wilson’s dominance, players across the league are either enjoying a well-deserved break or getting right back to work for next year. But for Wilson, the offseason is about showing support to her boyfriend.

After missing several games with a lingering toe issue, Adebayo was officially cleared to suit up just a few hours before the game. Head coach Erik Spoelstra confirmed that the plan includes a careful minutes restriction, a measured approach as the Heat works the veteran back into rhythm.
His return comes at an opportune moment. The Heat are looking to build momentum against the Warriors’ squad, who are dealing with their own personnel challenges. Golden State entered Wednesday severely depleted, with multiple starters unavailable, which gives Miami an opening to recalibrate their rotations with Adebayo back in the mix.
While Adebayo’s comeback is a major storyline on its own, A’ja Wilson’s appearance added an unexpected spark to the night. The two have long shown mutual respect across leagues, whether it’s on the court, bringing home championships, or off the court, these lovebirds continue to leave fans in awe.

This isn’t the first time A’ja Wilson has shown up court side to cheer on for the NBA star. From a ceremony honoring Adebayo to his Team USA games in the Olympics, Wilson has been a constant supporter of him. And Bam Adebayo returns the same.

A’ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo have a relationship built on support
The Heat center and the WNBA first sparked dating rumors after being spotted together ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics, and although they both had kept a tight lid on their relationship, A’ja Wilson indirectly confirmed the rumors. During her jersey retirement by the University of South Carolina, Wilson subtly gave a shoutout to Adebayo, who was also present at the event.
“I wouldn’t be who I am today without the love, support, and sacrifices of so many people. What a blessing to have those most special to me courtside today, especially my favorite Olympian from out of town,” she said.
Since then, both stars haven’t shied away from showing their affection for one another. However, they plan to keep their romance offline, calling social media “poisonous to the mind.” As Adebayo works his way back into form and Wilson enjoys a well-earned offseason, the two continue to thrive on their own terms. No grand posts, no curated couple content, just support, respect, and a connection that doesn’t need the spotlight to shine.
