Regardless of the Grand Slams, Swiss legend Roger Federer is considered the G.O.A.T. by the majority of the tennis community. American sensation Coco Gauff is no different. Gauff has cited Serena Williams as the reason she plays tennis on multiple occasions. But Federer’s demeanor on and off the court inspired the young champion to nurture hers after the Swiss legend. After winning her third round in the 2021 Wimbledon Championships, the American disclosed that she also aims to be a role model like her idol, Federer.
The American star and the Swiss veteran have their own tennis collection. But Gauff, at just 19 years, is already challenging the 42-year-old with her ‘spookiness.’

The World No.3 is making her dream come true as she targets the ‘triple-threat’ posed by the Swiss Maestro. Gauff has been an enormous asset to her sponsors since she signed with them. Her US Open glory added heavily anticipated ‘zeroes’ to her primary sponsor, and a new collection was unveiled, honoring Gauff and her most successful season.
New Balance introduced the Halloween unique collection to make Gauff’s ‘Spooky Season’ cheerful. The Coco CG1, Gauff’s first New Balance collection, returned with a holiday twist, celebrating her US Open win. The sneakers proudly flaunt ‘Coco Gauff’ on its tongue and the brand name in cursive on the upper.

Spooky versions of the Coco CG1 will be available to claim from the 6th of October. The sneakers cost $170, while Roger Federer’s $10 Billion worth of ‘On’ brand pair typically cost $200.
Federer’s On collection, ‘THE ROGER,’ took two years of research and testing, as the sneakers were developed by analyzing the sensory feedback. While King Roger’s collections aim to provide perfect grips to athletes according to the surfaces they play, Gauff’s new version leans more toward funky, styled, and color pop. Gauff is loud, bold, and fierce on the court. Her sneaker collection also comes in color pop and dark designs. The American teen will sport her new spooky display in the WTA Finals in November.
