She cited the Swiss Maestro Roger Federer as her source of inspiration. Muchova detailed how she adopted Federer’s all-in attacking approach to the game. As Muchova grew older, she found immense inspiration in Federer, the Swiss GOAT. His aggressive, attacking approach left a major influence on her and she could see herself, in many ways, mirroring his style of game.

Karolina Muchova watched Roger Federer’s matches to hone her own game. She carefully analyzed his techniques to incorporate some of his shots into her repertoire.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, she shared, “I looked up to Roger [Federer] and players like this, playing this aggressive, attacking style. I saw myself in that a little bit, in the way I would like to play the game.”

Muchova has the remarkable ability to mix up shots with heavy spins, slices, and drop shots to outwit her opponents. She takes on risks with gusto and is unafraid to attack the net. Her bold approach has allowed her to become a dominant force on the WTA tour, making her a feared competitor.
Muchova also added, “That helped and I tried to play some similar shots and I just enjoy the game to play it this way.”

However, this isn’t the first time that Muchova has praised the role of the Swiss Maestro in her development.

In another interview with the Tennis Channel, Muchova revealed that her tennis inspiration has always been centered around one player – the legendary Roger Federer. The Czech star admitted that while growing up, no other player left a lasting impression on her from the WTA tour. Muchova’s comfort on the Madrid clay court is attributed to its sand-like feel, aiding her adaptability.
