The younger Williams sister was invincible during her prime. Her dominance over the years has seen her lift 23 Grand Slam singles titles. Additionally, she also has 14 major doubles titles, partnering with her elder sister, Venus Williams. Further, adding a golden lining to her wonderful career, Serena has won four Olympic gold medals.

Serena Williams on her ‘lows’ in life
The 40-year-old took to Instagram to post a picture of herself in a beautiful purple outfit. While the first picture involved her posing confidently, the second picture portrayed her in an accidental fall. The caption read, “After all these years I am still learning how to adjust and fall graciously … not just for pictures, I’m talking about in life as well.”

Last year, Serena, while playing at The Championships, Wimbledon, slipped on the wet grass and injured her hamstring. It has kept her out for over nine months now. Further, during the 2018 US Open final, Serena was involved in a controversy with the chair umpire, Carlos Ramos. Subsequently, she received a code violation for her conduct. Serena went on to lose her summit clash against Naomi Osaka.
