The medication has kept her mind at ease. She further clarified that UBRELVY is a prescription medicine used to treat migraine attacks in adults. It is not for migraine prevention.
How did Serena deal with migraine?
Serena Williams had severe bouts of migraine during the pandemic because she was taking care of her daughter Olympia all day long. Other than that, she was working for her venture and fashion company on a computer. The player had been suffering from migraines for a longer period. She accepted the fact that it has hindered her in some matches as well.
For example, she had a migraine attack in 2001 in Sydney when she was playing against Martina Hingis. But she stayed resilient and played with those migraines as well.
