In a Genuine Show of Support, 19-Year-Old Coco Gauff Talks About Emma Raducanu’s ‘Crazy’ Surgery Journey As She Reveals Hopeful Wish for the Brit’s Future

Coco Gauff, a young tennis star, has consistently demonstrated maturity both on and off the court. The fact that she is the oldest of three siblings may be a major factor in her wisdom. In a similar vein, she recently responded to a question concerning her fellow rising star Emma Raducanu‘s three surgeries in a very sincere manner.

While she is playing one tournament after another, there is a rising tennis star, Raducanu, who has been out of the tennis circuit for a few months now owing to her injuries.

And recently, during the first round press conference of the tournament, Gauff was asked about the 20-year-old tennis player’s recent developments. Gauff talked about how Radacanu’s three surgeries are a lot to deal with. And while she has not experienced any kind of injuries like that, she detailed that facing these kinds of issues isn’t an easy task.

She said, “Yeah, I mean, three surgeries is crazy. That maybe could have played a role. I don’t know like her situation, but I definitely have a lot of empathy for her. I sent her well wishes privately and publicly.”

Nevertheless, this is not the first time the world number 7 tennis player has stood up for the British star. Earlier, Gauff issued a strong statement for Raducanu haters after defeating her at the Australiafn Open.

The tennis player, who was 18 years old at that time, defeated Raducanu in a match at the Australian Open earlier this year. She delivered a resounding message to the detractors who were attacking young athletes, including the 2021 US Open champion.
