Speaking on this subject, Kristie stated, “It is probably one of the most polarizing feelings to announce that I’m stepping away from the court. This chapter of my life has had twists and turns reminiscent of a drama that has finally to an end lol.”

“Honestly, I’m still devastated that my last match was at US Open not playing in front of you guys. I really wanted to qualify to have one last chance to say thank you and goodbye properly,” she added.

Had a great run during the 2019 season

Coming to tennis, Kristie achieved a career-best ranking of 87 in the world. The Asian-American player did not perform exceedingly well at the Grand Slams. Her best performance was at the US Open when she reached the fourth round in 2019.
