In 2017, Serena married Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian. Further, in the same year, she gave birth to Olympia. Along with her professional commitments, Serena has managed her personal life equally well. Serena and Olympia share a strong bond and are often seen sharing their adorable moments on social media. Recently, Alexis Ohanian showcased a new thing in his vault.

The Reddit co-founder took to Twitter to display his 2003 Netpro #2 Serena Williams Photo Card PSA 10. Further, reacting to it, he said, “Hey, that’s different… something new in my [Alt] vault.”

Earlier this year, Serena was in the news after her rookie card fetched a record price. It was the highest-selling women’s sports card. The 1999 SI For Kids Series 4 Serena Williams Rookie card was sold at a whopping price of USD 117,000.

Director of Marketing at PWCC, Chris Callahan, said, “The sales also highlight the rapid growth in women’s sports cards over the past year. Through 2021, we saw a few records set for women’s cards, but the $117,000 sale is definitely a major step up as it more than doubles the previous record.”

At 40, Serena is hoping to have one final shot at a Grand Slam title, that has been eluding her for over five years now. After her 23rd Major title triumph, Serena has lost in four Grand Slam finals since. However, she’ll be eager to equal, or maybe better, Margaret Court’s record of 24 Grand Slam titles.
