Serena dazzles in new commercial
‘S by Serena’ comes up with new collections frequently. This time was no less. Yesterday, on 18th February, the clothing brand announced the coming up of its new collection, ‘The Best Dressed’.

The brand took to its social media handle, making the announcement through a commercial. The commercial featured none other than the lady herself, Serena Williams. In the video, Serena was seen in some behind-the-seen footage of her photoshoots.
She coupled the footage with a highly impactful audio narration. She said, “I can’t imagine not doing my best. Not giving 100% to everything I do? That’s not Serena. And what I’m wearing, always plays a part.”

According to Serena, she has been a fashionista since her young days. While talking to a fashion magazine, Serena opened up on her young days as she revisited the time when her mother used to stitch her tennis outfits and also teach her how to sew.

She also spoke about her mission statement saying, “We want women to feel celebrated and appreciated. It doesn’t matter what you look like, where you come from, or what size you are. You might have a bad day, but you put on our clothes, and you feel confident.”

Speaking to another fashion magazine Elle, she named British model Naomi Campbell and American model Cindy Crawford as her inspirations. As told by Serena, inclusivity was the key point that she wanted to touch on through her products.
Elaborating on that, she said, “It was important for me to create different things for different people and different body types. I like the word inclusivity as opposed to exclusive because I feel like when you’re inclusive, it just makes a difference and it’s where we should be heading more now.”

Starting ‘S by Serena’ in 2018, Williams has become a major name in the fashion industry. Even though the player is often spotted in her off-court engagements, Williams is yet to make her comeback announcement on the tour.
