The burgeoning popularity of a new golf league spearheaded by Tiger Woods is gaining momentum. The legendary American golfer previously came up with the idea of a tech-focused golf league, TGL, that has now piqued the interest of many popular figures from different sports genres. Even Serena Williams‘ and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, have succumbed to the craze, as they are already a part of its investor group.

The power couple previously founded the Los Angeles Golf Club (LAGC), their own team for the league, for which they have also released a line of merchandise. Joining Serena and Alexis in their golf endeavors, NWSL star Alex Morgan is now also backing the team as an investor. After making investments in the golf venture, the tech entrepreneur and the soccer star recently dropped some major hints about LAGC’s new tagline.

Apart from soccer, the 34-year-old NWSL star has been both an avid fan of and a participant in golf. Alex Morgan’s passion for a totally disparate sport has been quite evident during her golf course sessions. Her fantastic golf swings have caught the attention of many on social media, including Alexis Ohanian.

In her recent session, Morgan was heard saying, “That’ll do” after taking a satisfactory swing at the golf course. Reacting to her eureka moment, the American internet entrepreneur came up with the idea of a new tagline for their team in TGL, LAGC.
