“A Sneaking Suspicion”: Matt Hardy Predicts the Identity of the Masked Men on AEW Dynamite

Former WWE Superstar and wrestling legend Matt Hardy hosted the last episode of this year of his podcast, The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy took some questions from fans and answered them while also discussing AEW’s intriguing Devil storyline. He dived into who he believes are The Devil’s henchmen who became the ROH World Tag Team Champions.

Five minutes into the podcast the host Jon Alba initiated the discussion about the World’s End PPV and segued into Samoa Joe’s cahoots with the Devil. Hardy also brought up his thoughts on who he believes are the henchmen and it includes a former WWE star.

One of the biggest mysteries in the wrestling world for the year 2023 was the secret of The Devil. In what was once a moniker adopted by AEW World Champion MJF, it has emerged from the shadows to threaten the AEW roster. While everybody is busy coping with the threat of the devil, Matt Hardy gave his take on the henchmen of The Devil.

Matt Hardy said, “I wonder who the two masked men were that actually won the tag titles from MJF, the Ring Of Honor World Tag Team Titles. I’m curious on who that’s going to be. For some reason, I have a sneaking suspicion it could be The Kingdom, but who knows?” The Kingdom is a newly recruited stable within AEW that debuted on the October 14th edition of Rampage. It consists of Maria Kanellis (as Manager), Mike Bennett, and Matt Taven. Interestingly, Adam Cole and Matt Hardy were once a part of the stable.

As Matt Hardy speaks, a new pair has become the ROH World Tag Team Champion defeating the duo of Adam Cole and MJF on the December 27th episode of AEW Dynamite. More drama unfolded when Samoa Joe showed up to reveal his association with the Devil, building more intrigue into the storyline. It will also build up to the match between Joe and MJF at World’s End PPV on December 30th that may also reveal the secrets behind The Devil.

But will Joe come out victorious since he has sided with The Devil? Is Joe the actual Devil? Is it Adam Cole? Samoa Joe vs. MJF will be more than just a match.
