Downstait suggests a surprise entry

Recently, the musical group revealed that they would be making a big announcement for WrestleMania XL. In a recent conversation with Steve Fall, Zack Call, the lead vocalist of Downstait, was asked about his plans for WrestleMania 40. Although Call didn’t reveal specific details, he hinted at his presence during the weekend of the event. He said, “So we’re gonna leave that to our announcement on 4-5-24 and all of our teasers. We’ll have to wait and see what’s going on there.” He further adds, “I can tell you this. I will be in Philadelphia WrestleMania weekend.”

This plan might work, but live performances don’t always work in the WWE. For every Limp Bizkit, there’s a MGK performing at WrestleMania. And who can forget the way he incurred boos from the live audience? Well, Downstait too received generally negative reviews when they performed at AEW. And fans are worried that history might repeat itself.

Fans are not too thrilled with the prospect of Downstait playing live

As soon as the announcement was made, fans took to social media to share their skepticism toward the plan. The last time Downstait performed at AEW Revolution back in 2020, they sounded miserable, to say the least. And the same happening at Mania will be unacceptable.
