They always say never come to conclusions without proper research. That’s what the fans did, but we finally have an update on why the ‘World’s Largest Athlete’ left WWE. PWInsider recently reported the reason Big Show left WWE was that the two parties couldn’t come to an agreement regarding a new contract.
The Big Show signed a multi-year contract with WWE back in 2017 that ended in early 2021. He had signed his first WWE contract in 1999 and stayed with the company for over two decades. But his departure confirms one thing; anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling.
Another addition to the story is that Show was also unhappy with the way he was treated. For those unaware, Randy Orton had some strong, insulting words for the Big Show as the two met backstage on WWE Raw Legends Night earlier last month.

It all started with Hulk Hogan joining WCW with a grand parade through Orlando’s Universal Studios. Sounds pretty similar to the event where Chris Jericho announced his signing with AEW, doesn’t it?
They also have one of the top faces of WCW – ‘The Icon’ Sting. Not to forget, the ‘voice of WCW’ Tony Schiavone and former WCW Superstars, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Tazz as managers.
Big Show’s signing can be compared to that of Lex Luger, or even Randy Savage. No one in the WWE or outside saw this coming. Where do you think the ship is heading for AEW? Will they be WCW 2.0, or will they silence the critics?
