Top AEW Superstar Praises Stephanie McMahon and Her Work in the WWE Attitude Era

During the Attitude Era, Chris Jericho was one of the top stars in WWE and he made a monstrous impact on the wrestling world. He was a part of many feuds during this time and his alliance with Vince McMahon is a thing of legend.

Recently, Chris Jericho tweeted about his old wrestling days during the Attitude Era. He loved the way the storyline developed as Team WWE went against Team Alliance. His alliance with Vince McMahon and the storyline was one of the best. Y2J was one of the few decorated superstars who was chosen to forge an alliance with Vince McMahon to develop further intense storylines.

The segment featured Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon on the side in a joined alliance with WCW. Recently, Jericho recalled his experience with Stephanie McMahon and how she reacted when Jericho was on Vince McMahon’s side. Eventually, she said she hated Chris Jericho.

During the Attitude Era, WCW joined forces with ECW to takeover WWF (now WWE). Many superstars joined WCW while Jericho remained loyal to WWE and to Vince McMahon. This feud caused an intense situation among the promotions where Team WCW went against Team WWE.

The match included Chris Jericho, The Rock, The Undertaker, Kane, and Big Show on Team WWE. On the other side, Team Alliance included Stone Cold Steve Austin, Rob Van Dam, Kurt Angle, Shane McMahon, and Booker T. Both teams collided at Survivor Series to determine the landscape of things to come.

In the end, Team WWE grabbed the victory when The Rock pinned Stone Cold Steve Austin. Although The Rock pinned Steve Austin, Jericho almost cost the match for The Rock.

Chris Jericho becomes the undisputed WWE Champion

Chris Jericho and The Rock had an intense rivalry during the Attitude Era. Jericho competed in a match against The Rock and Steve Austin on the same night, winning the undisputed WWE Championship.

At Vengeance 2001, Chris Jericho competed against The Rock where he successfully defeat The Great One in epic fashion. The Brahma Bull tried his best to keep himself steady in the match, however, due to a distraction from Vince McMahon, Jericho grabbed the opportunity to deliver The Rock Bottom to The Rock winning the match.

Later, he competed against the Texas Rattlesnake. During the match, fans witnessed many interruptions where both men got opportunities to take advantage. However, during the final moments of the match, Booker T smashed Stone Cold Steve Austin with the WWE title, where Jericho won the WWE Undisputed Championship.

With this win, Jericho became the first man to hold both WCW and WWE Championships simultaneously. This was one of the most anticipated matches of Chris Jericho’s career.
