Do you remember the time the WWE and the WCW collided every week in the mid-90s to early 2000s? That divided the fans of the two promotions and helped build a solid fanbase. However, if you were a neutral fan, you surely were spoiled for choice. The two promotions packed their respective shows with good matches, hoping to have a bigger share of the rating pie. The Monday Night Wars ceased in March 2001, as WWE acquired its rival.

Over 22 years later, old fans will experience a déjà vu and new ones will witness a one-of-its-kind frenzy. The WWE will butt heads with another rival- AEW- on Tuesday night. Dubbed as Tuesday Night War, it’ll see a clash between WWE’s NXT and AEW’s Dynamite.

However, Edge, the character, is no more. The man behind the iconic gimmick, armed with a deadly spear, has now inked a bond with Tony Khan’s AEW. As a fresher, Adam Copeland- AEW’s Rated-R Superstar, will make his in-ring debut on the October 10 episode of Dynamite.

To counter that, WWE announced John Cena’s appearance on NXT. This wouldn’t have been an issue in the past, as Dynamite is generally aired live on Wednesday, but it is likely that the program was moved a day ahead to celebrate Tony Khan’s 41st birthday. Now the question doing the round is- Who will win the rating war? Will Cena prevail over his hallowed rival?

Safe to say, the WWE also added Cody Rhodes and Paul Heyman in the mix, which might work in their favor. But Copeland still holds the key. Dynamite will start at 6:30 pm CT, while AEW will start half an hour later at 7 pm CT.

Swerve Strickland vs. Bryan Danielson- The two wrestlers will trade blows during the bout which will determine the number one contender for the TNT Championship. The winner will face Christian Cage at a later date.
