The former WWE Intercontinental Champion gained a victory over the latter by TKO. After the victory, the winner of the match made an announcement about who he would like to be his next opponent for his boxing match.

After sidelining Logan Paul, he chose Paul’s former rival turned business associate, KSI, as his next desired opponent. While making the announcement, he also snubbed The Maverick’s brother, Jake Paul.

“When I’m thinking about who to call out, Jake? Logan? No, Jake got beat, Logan got beat by KSI, which is why I’m going to put KSI on blast right now,” were his exact words. This bold announcement from the former ECW World Champion created a buzz in the social media world.

Fans are in shock after what happened.

Morrison’s laying an open challenge to KSI is a piece of hard news for the fans to digest.

Fans also praised the pro wrestling star’s exceptional first boxing performance.

Why Morrison chose KSI over Logan Paul?

Recently, last month, the ‘Shawman of Sexy’ had an interview with Wrestling by Sports. During the interview, he took a jibe at the YouTuber, saying that he has poor boxing skills. He stated that defeating him in a boxing match would be a piece of cake for him.

The 43-year-old star made some comments about Paul having a bad defense and how easy it would be to knock him in just the third round. As he believes the internet sensation would be an easy win, therefore, it is likely that this is why he sidelined him for KSI.

In the boxing arena, KSI has displayed outstanding performance, albeit against fellow YouTube stars. His current professional record is 5 wins, zero losses, and 1 draw. Nobody has beaten him before. Therefore, this may be why Morrison wants to take on him, i.e. to end his undefeated 5-0-1 streak.
