Cody Rhodes Paid Respect to a New Champion Before His Secret WWE Return at WrestleMania 38

Cody Rhodes made a shocking return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 this month. The former AEW superstar took the center stage at the AT&T Stadium as Seth Rollins’ mystery opponent.

Ever since Cody left AEW, there had been rumors of his grand WWE return. But no fans could guarantee whether Cody Rhodes will show up at WrestleMania.

However, prior to his WWE return, Cody came across the WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair.

Recently, WWE posted a picture of Bianca and Cody sharing a high-five behind the scenes during WrestleMania 38.

It looks like the former AEW superstar is congratulating Bianca for her WrestleMania 38 performance.

Just before Cody’s match against Seth Rollins, Bianca Belair had her title match against Becky Lynch.

The EST of WWE defeated Becky to win the WWE Raw Women’s Championship for the first time in her WWE career.

Right after Bianca’s title match, Cody made his way to the ring to face Seth Rollins. The live audience absolutely went berserk on seeing Cody Rhodes back in WWE after almost six years.

Not only did the fans enjoy the moment, but Cody Rhodes also felt the love of the WWE fans on that night.

On Night One of WrestleMania 38, he had a hard-fought battle against Seth Rollins.

But in the end, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion picked up the victory over Rollins after hitting him with three Cross Rhodes.

The WWE Universe loved the match, and it looked like Cody Rhodes was ready to enter the title picture in WWE in the upcoming weeks. And during the following episode of WWE Raw, Cody made his intentions clear.

Is Cody going to challenge for the WWE Championship?

Well, during his promo on WWE Raw after WrestleMania, Cody claimed he is ready for the challenge. With the fans right behind him, it might not be long before we see Cody Rhodes as the WWE Champion.

But currently, there is no news about Cody challenging for the title. Last week, Cody competed in a dark match against Kevin Owens.

But this week, he is going to compete in a live match against The Miz on WWE Raw.
