Brock Lesnar last appeared in WWE at SummerSlam this year. He wrestled Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing match in what was an all-out brawl. Although he lost the match, him lifting the ring with a tractor will be a moment to remember. Since then, fans have been waiting to see ‘The Beast’ back in action. But it seems they will wait a little longer to see him in a WWE ring again.

After Lesnar’s recent run with the company, he has taken another time off from the ring. During this last run, he had fun playing a babyface as fans got to see a whole new side of him.

His box-office appeal and drawing power mean WWE misses him as much as the fans. WWE usually gets Lesnar back for their marquee events. However, this time with two big WWE events coming up, his return to the promotion isn’t that obvious.

Doubts over Brock Lesnar appearing for WWE this year

As a ‘special attraction’ Brock Lesnar is used to taking time off from WWE and then showing up before a big event. After he went on a hiatus after SummerSlam, fans expected a similar course of action. But it seems there is some ambiguity around his next appearance.

According to a report in Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer mentioned WWE could be moving its Day 1 event to a different date. He further mentioned Lesnar’s next match in the U.S. is scheduled for the event, which takes place in 2023. This could mean that ‘The Beast Incarnate’ could miss the Survivor Series in November.

Since the report talks about Day 1 being Lesnar’s next U.S appearance, there is a possibility we may see him in some capacity at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.

Notably, ‘The Conqueror’ wrestled at the inaugural Day 1 event last year. Lesnar entered a multi-man match against WWE Champion Big E, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins. ‘The Beast’ pinned Big E to win the title in an exciting match.

So far, WWE has only booked Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship for the Crown Jewel. We will have to wait and see if they book Lesnar for the premium live event on 5 November.

It was reported earlier that Brock Lesnar may compete for the United States title for the first time in his career at the Saudi Arabia show and wrestle Bobby Lashley. Recently, WWE also featured Lesnar on the 2023 Royal Rumble poster, which could mean he will be present at the event.
